The work of German acclaimed poet Doris Runge somehow is reminiscent of Dutch poet Vasalis, since she is also known for using words sparingly. Three of her poems inspired Krüs to write a song cycle for high voice and string quartet or piano. Two of them will be performed by Eric Reddet, tenor and Abigail Reddet, piano in the opening concert of the Voorhaven Concerten in Edam, North of Amsterdam. Get your tickets here!
The Utrechts Kamerkoor will perform Denkend aan Holland for TTBB, originally written for The Gents men's choir in 2019.
